AMERICAN TRUCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY
LONG ISLAND CHAPTER
The American Truck Historical Society - Long Island Chapter is an antique truck club formed in November of 1993. We became a chartered ATHS chapter in March of 1994, and currently are one of three chapters located in New York State, and one of 93 ATHS Chapters throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Our chapter's region covers all of Long Island from Brooklyn to Montauk. We meet monthly, usually on the fourth Wednesday of the month, at various locations throughout the island.
In addition to chapter meetings, we host and co-host several other truck and car shows during the year, including an annual two-day antique truck show. We also hold an annual family picnic, awards dinner, and participate in truck runs, shows and parades at various places of interest around the island.
We currently have almost 100 members in our chapter, but we are always looking for additional truck enthusiasts to join. Ownership of an antique or modern truck is not required to become a member - just a love of old trucks.
